If you had asked me as a kid what I wanted to be, I would’ve said an actress without missing a beat. I was obsessed with storytelling—whether it was Cinderella, I Love Lucy, Donnie Darko, or The Sopranos. I loved the way stories could make people feel something real. That’s all I ever wanted to do: connect with people through emotion, through art, through truth.

For a while, that dream took center stage. I pursued my BFA in Theatre with a concentration in Acting. I booked national commercials and international voice over commercials for companies like Trident Gum, Moe’s and Cinnabon. I even did audio books! But after COVID flipped everything upside down, I started to shift. The acting world changed, and I realized that maybe I was meant to tell stories in a different way. I had always been a creative person—I painted, I wrote, I loved visuals. So I pivoted into marketing, thinking it would scratch the same itch. And it did… kind of.

What really lit me up was design. I ended up diving into UX/UI, fell into the startup world, and worked with some incredible small businesses. I saw firsthand how powerful good branding and intentional design could be. I also saw how brave these business owners were—betting on themselves, chasing their dreams, building things from scratch. That energy? It was magnetic. And I wanted to be part of it.

After a two week solo trip to Italy (which cracked me open in the best way), I came home and finally said it out loud: I want to do my own thing. I want to build a studio that brings all my passions together—art, storytelling, connection, design—and helps other bold, creative people show up in the world with clarity and confidence.

That’s how El Domino Designs was born. It’s not just a business—it’s my way of saying your brand should feel like you. Like art. Like truth. And that betting on yourself is always worth it.
